As a company specializing in tire pressure related Catronics, Seetron Inc. developed and commercialized the Electronic Tire inflator and began to create the basic developmental concept for a device which monitors and tire air pressure after recognizing the necessity for a preventative safety device in the 1990.
As the discussions on mandatory legislation for TPMS installation began in the United States in November 2000, Seetron started development of TPMS in 2001. In 2002, Seetron conduced a joint research project with Kumho Tires for Run-flat tire project, and in March 2003 the first ever TPMS in Korea was introduced.
Following its success, a TPMS with 447MHz in narrow bandwidth was introduced in 2006 through efforts to develop a product suitable for the Korean market, and began provision of TPMS in a Korean After Market had, up to that point, been a dead zone on tire safety.Seetron will continue to expand in the market by developing TPMS for OEM and the after market by suitable for all world markets, and will continue our efforts to develop new technologies for passive TPMS.
Seetron, under the belief of developing valuable products which can save human lives and contribute to society, desires to become a small, but strong corporation in possession of the world's best technologies.
