• Kuzi Mulberry Tree (Silkworm Thorn) called "the sacred medicine for diseases of females" from ancient times is a mulberry tree but has long thorn on its trunk unlike the mulberry trees, and called Silkworm Thorn in English and Jamok or Sangja in China, and grows only in China and some region in southern Korea. Kuzi Mulberry Tree (Silkworm Thorn) rated as the best spawning grafting for Sangwhang mushroom is rare nowadays and difficult to meet in the wild.
• The research of Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology revealed that Kuzi mulberry tree excels in anti-cancer efficacy with its strong anti-cancer and activation matter of "gericudranin", and has anti-oxidation, anti-virus, and anti-inflammation function, and effective for restraining hyperlipemia.
