Introduction:

Silica powder is also called silica ash or condensed silica fume, or silica fume. It is the by-product of the process of ferrosilicon or silicon metal,which is made up of the high-purity quartz,coke and scrap iron in the furnace. The main components of the silica powder is SiO2. The color of the silicon fume is grey.

Characters:

(1)Silica powder is a inorganic packing of stable physicochemistry properties,it has no crystal water,do not participate in curing reaction,and do not affect the reaction mechanism .

(2)It has good wetting properties for all kinds of rezin,good adsorption performance,easy to mix and do not produce group.

(3)The silica powder can increase the thermal conductivity,change the adhesiveness and increase the fire resistance.

Application:

(1)The silica powder, as good modified material of concrete, can be used in the construction. Silica powder high-strength concrete has many characteristics,such as easily to pour, long-term keep stability and higher strength,ect.And it can improve the inner quality of the building ,so it has great application value to use in the construction of bridges, water conservancy, and metro,ect.

(2)The silica powder used in the refractory can improve the liquidity and density largly,enhance the strength of high temperature and shock performance obviously,and the production efficiency can be greatly advanced.Currently the silica powder are widely spread in the fused and sintering refractory material besides the pouring materials.
