Ganghwado ginseng was originated from Goryeo ginseng and the cultivation began at the age of King Gojong(1232) of Goryeo dynasty.

Upon the breakout of Korean conflict the people og gaeseong(the origin of ginseng) reguged to this island and began to cultivate the ginseng on a full scale in 1953.

Ginseng is sensitively influenced by the weather and the earth soil with a severe environmental difficulties and so Korea is considered the most appropriate land of the world and Ganghwado island is confirmed of the best cultivation land for a 6-year0root of ginseng.

We are using 100% high quality rice and our rice wine is fermented for 20 days at low temperature to prevent hangover and endow fragrant smells.

Our traditional rice wine is made of high quality mineral water from
Chanwoomool(cold well) in Gangwha Island.
The water comes from 303M underground.

We boil down certified Gangwha ginseng and herb for 48 hours and add 10% extract in volume to rice wine during fermentation to keep healthy components and unique taste and smells. Alcohol degree is 6%.
