Acrylic resin RC-710T

Summary

RC 710T which can be the curing agent for saturated carboxyl polyester of low acid value is an acrylic resin with epoxy group. It can produce the extinction effect because of compatible difference between components of RC 710T and polyester. RC 710Thas excellent extinction performance, can obtain gloss in the range of 1-60%, and is suitable for outdoor powder of low gloss (1-20%). The pure polyester powder coating costs less and is painted easily; at the same time RC 710T has excellent performances of weatherability, anti-salt spray, thermostability, and anti-yellowing. Compared to similar products at home and abroad, the dosage of RC 710T is less and it has qualitative improvements of smoothness, scratch resistance, impact strength and gloss stability; the surface of coating is full and delicate; it’s suitable for black and half-gloss system; it produces pattern easily in the art powder.

Production process

1. The extruding temperature is as low as possible (commonly 80℃ in the front section and 100℃ in the back section) .

2. The rotate speed of small sample machine (twin-screw30) needs fast (45HZ) and that of big sample machine needs slowly (25HZ); adding the material as fast as possible.

3.  Baking at 200℃ for 15 minutes
