4. Heat Treatment
All plates of Grades A, B, D, and E shall be normalized.
All plates of Grade F shall be heat treated by heating into the austenitic range, quenching in water, and tempering at not less than 1100 F [595 C] for not less than half hours.

   Tensile strength : min 450-515Mpa
   Yield Strength   :  min 255-345Mpa
    Elongation  : 17-21%

6. Mechanical Requirements
   Tension Test Requirements: it should conform to the requirements of Tensile properties.
   Impact Test Requirements:
  Grade F plates shall be impact tested,
  Plates of Grades A, B, D, and E  shall be Charpy V-notch impact tested 27J.
