Total Aerobes Monitoring LOP™ Package

Total Aerobes Monitoring LOP™ Package is a product for colony enumeration and detection of total mesophillic aerobic bacteria which capable of growing in the presence of oxygen and you can monitor simply hygiene conditions of all the places of your home and person using this product. If you get a result of high number of total aerobes, you should enhance hygiene practice because it provides a possibility of pathogens.

Interpretation of Result

Bacteria are too small to see with the naked eye, but reproduce rapidly in proper growth condition and form a few milimeters of colonies. You can see the colonies with your eyes.

Growing bacteria form red colonies as above, because the medium for detection of total aerobes contain a staining redox dye (2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride, TTC) which indicate red-color in reduction of tetrazolium salts.
Count numbers of red colonies, and record it as the number of total aerobes.

Record of Result

Record the result as the tables below. If you get the result of poor hygiene, check again after action for improvement of hygiene. Periodic monitoring helps your home keep good hygiene conditions.
